The house
Accessibility
Everyone should be able to find a piece, choose a size and check out with ease. Here is how we work toward that, and how to tell us when we fall short.
Built in
What we have done so far.
- Text boxes sized so your phone does not zoom in while you type.
- Buttons and links sized for a fingertip on phones.
- A clear main heading at the top of our shop, product and help pages, so screen readers can find their way.
- Size charts written as real tables, so they can be read aloud row by row.
- Menus and the size guide that work with a keyboard, with Escape to close them.
- Less movement on screen when your device is set to reduce motion.
Our guide
The standard we work to.
When we build or change a page, WCAG 2.1 at level AA is the benchmark we work toward, and we try it on a phone screen first, where most of our customers shop.
A few parts of the site come from partners, such as checkout and the cart. If a problem sits there, we will raise it with them for you.

Something in your way?
If anything on the site is hard to see, read or use, email hello@danielandcharles.com with the page and what happened. A real person reads every message and replies within 1 business day, and we will help you find what you need in the meantime.
